Boshuis 'De Bonte Roos' in Mierlo is a wonderful house for nature lovers and perfect for people who pursue an ecological life. The first hectare of wood around the house is privately owned and belongs to the house.
The surrounding forest is the Molenheide forest area. A unique location, which gives it a lot of privacy and tranquillity. Of course, you are in the very cosy Mierlo or Geldrop in no time if you want to shop, eat a bite outside or, if you fancy, a day of culture.
De Bonte Roos is as ecological as possible and is in the process of developing the forest near the house into a food forest, in collaboration with the Vegetable Garden House in Barendrecht. A beautiful place to become more aware of what nature has to offer.
