Muziekhuis Hofdael presenteert: Muziekcafé met Rubyn

Rubyn is a composition of Ruben Heijnsbroek (guitar/piano) and Jasmijn Bracke (vocals). They got to know each other at Muziekhuis Maarheeze's campfire sessions. Ruben can often be found on the bigger stages as an expert on the bass guitar. He has been teaching music for years and thus also became enthusiastic about the piano and (electric) guitar. Jasmijn started singing in 2018 and has developed her voice in rock, soul and pop. With a small, acoustic setting, the campfire sessions turned out to be a perfect match and as a duo, Rubyn has already had the opportunity to musically frame several garden exhibitions. Ruben and Jasmijn inspire each other with their own musical tastes, creating a varied cover repertoire. They play danceable songs from the 80s (George Michael, Elton John, Queen) to recent hits (London Grammar, Adele, Beyoncé). Rubyn manages to put its own spin on existing songs without losing sight of the original. Meanwhile, a real wedding set has also been added to their repertoire and they bring that extra bit of romance. Hall: Grote Spoel Entrance: € 7,- Up to 12 years free 12 - 18 years € 5,- The performance starts at 14:30 and lasts two times three quarters of an hour.
